About Us

Sherwood Elementary School opened its doors in the fall of 1969. Sherwood was built in pods to accommodate team teaching until the walls went up in 1980.

Our school consists of approximately 530 students in grades preschool through sixth grade. Sherwood is fortunate to be located adjacent to the new Arnold Recreation Center and Jefferson County Library.
