About Us

Sherwood Elementary School opened its doors in the fall of 1969. Sherwood was built in pods to accommodate team teaching until the walls went up in 1980.

Our school consists of approximately 450 students in grades preschool through fifth grade. Sherwood is fortunate to be located adjacent to the Arnold Recreation Center and Jefferson County Library.
